Recently Josh and I traveled down to the state of Texas to visit some of BassTech’s SBS and PE wax customers. Due to a tight schedule, we found it convenient to drive from Houston to Dallas. After living in the shadows of New York City most of my life, it is always humbling to see a truly rural part of the country. The drive was a solid five hours of very flat terrain, speckled with barns and livestock. The only structures that seemed to block the view were the incredibly large high school football stadiums. It was a pleasant alternative to my usual commute, the always hectic New Jersey Turnpike.
