BassTech International is a supplier of a complete line of performance additives to the Concrete Industry, including Lithium Silicate. Lithium Silicate is currently being used in Concrete Densifiers to reduce/eliminate Alkali-Silica Reaction (ASR) in Portland cement.
Due to its favorable properties compared to Sodium and Potassium Silicate, Lithium Silicates are less soluble once dried and do not react as quickly with the surface making it the ideal choice for Concrete Densification. Lithium Silicate has a greater alkaline content that raises the pH to reduce the possibility of ASR and penetrates the surface better than any other silicate. Further, Lithium Silicate can be utilized in paints and anti-corrosive coatings as well.
If you have a specific molar ratio for your application, we can tailor the molar ratio to meet your requirements. Below, please find the specifications for the two most common grades of Lithium Silicate we offer. We supply the material in both 250-kg drums and 1,000-kg IBCs. Based on your packing requirements, material might be available for prompt shipment from our local USA warehouse or from our facility overseas.
